ARCO LAMP

Designed in 1962, the Arco Lamp transfers the function of a ceiling light into a freestanding object that requires no permanent connection to the architecture.

A heavy marble base supports a long curved stainless-steel stem that extends over the surrounding space, positioning the light source above a table or seating area.

Its combination of structural clarity, industrial components and carefully selected materials made Arco one of the most recognizable icons of Italian twentieth-century design.
