Falkland is formed by a tubular elastic fabric stretched by a series of metal rings of different diameters.

Gravity determines its final shape, transforming a flat and lightweight material into a large three-dimensional volume.

The lamp demonstrates Munari’s interest in achieving complex visual effects through simple materials and minimal construction.
