SELLA STOOL

Sella uses an ordinary bicycle saddle as the seat of an unconventional stool designed for short periods of support rather than conventional sitting.

The saddle is mounted on a slender steel stem connected to a heavy rounded base, allowing the object to remain stable while maintaining a minimal physical presence.

Like Mezzadro, Sella demonstrates the Castiglioni brothers’ fascination with existing industrial objects and their ability to reinterpret them through a change of context and function.
