ULTRAFRAGOLA

Ultrafragola is a mirror and illuminated object characterized by a continuous wavy frame and a soft pink light that transforms its surrounding space.

The sinuous profile rejects the rigid geometry of conventional modernist furniture, introducing sensuality, color and an almost anthropomorphic quality.

Originally developed as part of Sottsass’ experimental Mobili Grigi series, Ultrafragola became one of his most recognizable designs and an important precursor to his later postmodern work.
